WE
LOVED THE BEACH! Thank you for sharing
this beautiful place -- we had a wonderful
family beach vacation...Thank you --
wonderful house, wonderful beach, a great
vacation!
We
arrived exhausted and leave ready to take
on the world! We loved the house, the
view, the beach, and especially your
library! Thank you!
Drift
Inn Cottage was a graceful gem tucked
between the woods and the water...You can
walk to the Harpoon for a great meal,
stroll the beach to read, reflect and
bake. Port Clyde is quaint and lovely and
the trip up to Camden to hike up Mt.
Battie...was great.
[Drift
Inn Beach] is wonderful for kayaking.
It inspired us to get a second one.
[It was] fun to be in the channel
with the loons and the lobster boats and
the occasional tall ship. The beach --
with its very soft sand -- was great for
stargazing. Enjoyed the moon and the Milky
Way and Mars at its very
brightest.

Mid-Maine
in late July 2003 produced many memories
for our family that will not be soon
forgotten. Flatlanders from Nebraska are
not privileged to regularly see the beauty
of the Atlantic Ocean. What a sight the
ocean is as the tides rise and fall each
day... Port Clyde was a perfect spot for
us...[we] ate Maine lobster for
our very first time. Now we know why they
are so special. We hiked, biked
[and] visited Monhegan
Island...and lighthouses in the
region...Thanks for the memories...
We
had a lovely time. Cottage is beautiful.
To have the beach so close was nice. We
watched seals bob up and down with the
waves.
Thanksgiving
week in the Drift Inn Cottage with our
children coming and going! Beautiful
weather...sea glass treasures...many
laughs and the joy of being all together.
Thank you so.
